What's on in Wolvercote
Horticultural Society
If
gardens and gardening, plants, flowers, fruit and vegetables are
your passion then you have come to the right place. As a
member of the Wolvercote Horticultural Society there are talks,
garden visits, plant sales and seasonal gatherings to enjoy.
And the three annual shows are a celebration of just what
people can achieve – not only garden and allotment produce, but
floral art, cookery, handicrafts and photography - with a wide range
of classes (and prizes!) for both children and adults.
The President, Chairman and other Officers of the Society are
elected at the Annual General Meeting, held in January, and serve
for one year from that date.

The Society wishes to thank all those who have donated trophies,
gifts and items for sale, and also those who help in other ways to
make our functions successful.
Membership benefits
These include discounts at Yarnton Nurseries, Cassington and
Hilltop Garden Centres and Burford Garden Centre (plants only).
Single membership costs
£5.00 p.a. and for a couple is £7.00 p.a.

Outings, lectures and other activities are
organised throughout the year and charges are kept as low as
possible. Forthcoming

The Society mounts three shows a year, in
Spring,
Summer and
Autumn.
You don't have to be a member to enter - so give it a go!

for the preparation your entries is provided to help you.
You are also recommended to read the
Show Regulations
as failure to comply may result in disqualification.
