Text Box: SHOW REGULATIONS

Anything not provided for in these regulations will be dealt with by the Committee.

1.  Exhibitors may enter one exhibit only per class. Extra entry forms may be obtained from the Show Secretary.

2.  All entry forms must be received by the dates and times specified, and at the places designated. These are summarised at the beginning of each individual Show class list.

3.  Exhibits are to be brought and staged between 9.00 a.m. and 10.15 a.m. on the day of the Spring & Autumn Shows. Exhibits for the summer Rose & Sweet 	Pea Show are to be brought between 9.00 a.m. and 10.00 am. No late arrivals will be accepted. 

4.  Judging will commence at 10.30 a.m. No unauthorised person may be present while judging is taking place. The public is admitted from 2.00 p.m. (12.00 	p.m. for Roses 	& Sweet Pea Show); NB: Children's trophies will be 	presented at 3.30 p.m. and 	they will then receive their prize money. The main trophy presentation will be at 	4.30pm. For the Rose & Sweet Pea Show it will be approx 2pm depending on the 	availability within the festival time table. *Would Exhibitors refrain from removing their exhibits until 15 minutes after the trophy presentations. 

5.  Any protest is to be lodged with the Chairman or the Show Secretary on the day of the Show, accompanied by a fee of 50 pence. This fee will be returned if the protest is upheld.

6.  The Committee reserve the right to inspect gardens and/or allotments of exhibitors, if deemed necessary. Any exhibitor found to have tampered with another person’s exhibits, or to be in knowing breach of these regulations, will be expelled from the Society.

7.  The Committee will do all in its power to prevent loss or damage, but cannot be held responsible for such occurrences.

8.  Materials used in the Floral Arts classes need not have been grown by exhibitors.

9.  Entry fee: 10 pence per exhibit for members; 20 pence for non-members; children free. Public entry at the door in the afternoon is 30 pence. Refreshments will be available.

10.All trophies must be returned to the Show Secretary: KAY RICHARDSON, ONE MONTH before each Show. Cups may be engraved by winners, if desired.

11.Rules of the Royal Horticultural Society apply.
