Wolvercote Morris is a
mixed family side dancing Cotswold Morris
We have only been going
since 2007, our first dance out being at the 2007 Wolvercote Festival.
We are welcoming to new
members, and have a number of “new dancer” practice nights throughout the year.

Came some bright and
jaunty fellows
With sticks and bells
and tall black hats
All dressed in green and
yellow
Down
And laughed as they were
prancing
And they all came down
from Summertown
To see the Morris
Dancing
Across the Bridge we’ll
dance in line
Right over rail and
water
And to the pub we’ll
find the way
Our steps they will not
falter
And there we’ll dance
and play for you
Our summer
entertainment

ask
